In Nur-Sultan the fourth annual round table on global investments "Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan (KGIR-2021) was held under the chairmanship of Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Foreign Affairs. KGIR-2021, one of the key events for Kazakhstani business and the foreign investor community, this year was organized in a hybrid format with the possibility of remote connection.

More than 400 offline as well as over 1000 online participants, including members of the Government and state organizations, representatives of local businesses, heads of transnational companies and international organizations, major investors and world experts from more than 50 countries (USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, India, Singapore, Korea, UAE) gathered at the round table.

During the event, a document on construction of a 10 hectares greenhouse complex oriented to the export of agricultural products has been signed between the Akimat of Turkestan region and the Polish Polcotton company.

Investment contract for the construction of a complex for the production of broiler meat signed by the domestic company "Prima Kus" with the Committee on Investments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Trilateral Memorandum on the construction of milk processing plant in Almaty region signed by NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC, Agroholding Dinara Group, and Qatari company Baladna. It is noted that the creation of natural dairy products of domestic brand will be competitive in foreign markets such as China, Malaysia, Vietnam, the CIS countries.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtar Tleuberdi, investments are a key factor in the development of Kazakhstan, about $ 380 billion were invested in the Kazakhstani economy during the years of independence.

Thus, in the framework of the round table were discussed the topical issues of the investment climate development and realization of the potential of the priority sectors of the economy. In addition, companies were awarded special nominations for their contribution to the development of the potential of the agro-industrial complex, pharmaceutical industry, contribution to the infrastructural development, as well as the development of human capital. On the field of the event, a number of B2B meetings were held with foreign partners to discuss the implementation of potential projects in Kazakhstan.
