The Israeli company intends to give a great impetus to the agricultural industry of the Turkestan region. Investors are considering the construction of a greenhouse, World of NAN reports with reference to the press service of the regional Akim.
I. Doskozhayev, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Regional Akim, and the management of the Regional Department of Agriculture met with business representatives.
As it became known, the Kazakh company QazaqBioProduct plans to join the project. Together with Israeli partners, it is considering the possibility of implementing a project to build a greenhouse for growing seedlings of tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelons, melons, lettuces and other crops.
Particular attention is paid to new technologies. Advanced Israeli technologies will be used when growing horticultural crops in greenhouses.
This year, the sown area of the Turkestan region has reached 851,000 hectares. Additionally, greenhouses were built on 26 hectares, the share in the republic was 71%, and the area reached 1.5 thousand hectares.
