Kyrgyzstan has quintupled imports of cattle from Kazakhstan

According to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan, in the first half of 2024, the country increased imports of cattle from Kazakhstan, World of NAN reported.

Thus, in January-June, the neighbouring republic imported more than 3.5 thousand cattle worth $710 thousand. This is five times more than in the same period last year - in 2023 imported 711 heads for $321 thousand.

The neighbours are also actively exporting cattle. In the first seven months of 2024, Kyrgyz livestock breeders exported 77,907 cattle, 70,392 small cattle, and 5,113 horses. During the same period, 11,011 cattle were imported, 488 small cattle were imported, and 3,319 horses were imported.
