Weather forecasters will continue to forecast difficulties in harvesting

In the third decade of August, satisfactory harvesting conditions are predicted in the main grain-growing regions, the rate of grain drying in the stalks will average 12-16% per day for 5-8 days, World of NAN reports with reference to Kazhydromet.

Forecasted precipitation with wind strengthening up to 15-20 m/s and more may cause lodging of crops in the fields, which will complicate their harvesting.

In the first and second decade of September in the grain-growing half of the country satisfactory conditions are expected for drying of grain in the stalks on average within 6-8 days per decade, in the north-west of the country conditions will be more favourable for harvesting.

In the first half of September in the north and centre of the country rains and frosts on the soil surface are expected, air temperature decrease at night is expected in some places to 0°C.
