Sheep wool in Kazakhstan is either burned or buried. The reason for this is the lack of wool processing plants. According to experts, as a result, we are losing a unique natural product, which could make use of and make good money on top of it. The country annually produces over 39 thousand tons of wool. In 2020, only 1.8 thousand tons of wool was processed and 1.6 thousand tons was exported, while the rest, more than 90% of wool, remained unclaimed.
