NANOC and "Eurasia Group Kazakhstan" signed a memorandum of cooperation

NANOC and

Eurasia Group Kazakhstan LLP, the official dealer of John Deere in Kazakhstan and "National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center" begin joint work for training and retraining of personnel for further development of the agroindustrial complex of the country. The parties signed a memorandum on cooperation yesterday. According to World of NAN, a training center was opened at the company's service center in Kokshetau to achieve common goals.

Meeting NANOC representatives headed by the Chairman of the Board Gulmira Isayeva, Eurasia Group Kazakhstan CEO Sergey Glokke demonstrated technical capabilities of the service center. Guests were presented modern equipment and innovative technologies. A wide range of services of the service center, technical equipment were of great interest for specialists of NANOC, especially now, when the Ministry of Agriculture has set big tasks for the national center to disseminate knowledge among the farmers.

"Today we see that Eurasia Group Kazakhstan has reached a level where the first priority is not making a profit, but the dissemination of technology, knowledge, improving literacy of customers - farmers. The company's management voiced its initiative to the Minister of Agriculture and was supported. For farmers it is very important to get advice, guidance and learn from qualified experts. And for the students it is of primary importance to be trained in such modern centers, where they acquire practical skills in the use of new smart solutions, agricultural machinery, its maintenance "- said Gulmira Isayeva, signing the document.

Within the framework of cooperation the parties plan a large volume of work, which will involve both students - future specialists of agricultural sphere, and agrarians, already occupied at the agricultural market, specialists of the service center and NANOC. The initiators of signing the document clearly understand that the lack of qualified personnel has to be urgently solved.

Eurasia Group Kazakhstan has been working in this direction for over 20 years, investing in the training of specialists of the agricultural sector. For this purpose the company has created a solid training base - two classrooms for theoretical and practical training and a large hangar for classes on diagnostics and repair work. Since 2004 EGK has been conducting international practical training for service engineers not only in Kazakhstan, but also in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Germany, Bulgaria, UAE. Over 40 thousand specialists have already passed the retraining courses. Now, within the framework of the memorandum, students will also have access to additional knowledge and experience.

"The agricultural sector is currently experiencing a shortage of personnel. Together with NANOC we intend to create a powerful system of education on the latest trends in agriculture, combining education, production process, experience in business and science. Thanks to the implementation of the project, we will get qualified personnel and create additional jobs. The transfer of the knowledge and experience that our company's specialists and NANOC experts have is very important for the industry," said Sergey Glokke, speaking about the goals of the joint project.

On the basis of the service center joint theoretical and practical courses for farmers and students of agricultural universities will be organized, activities to disseminate knowledge - theoretical and practical seminars, field consultations to farms, webinars, competitions. Students and undergraduates have the opportunity to get practical training and paid internship on the basis of branches of the company in Kokshetau, Kostanay and Nur-Sultan cities, to participate in events of EGK. The management of the training center provides for the selection of active students in the course of their studies for further employment. In addition to training, EGK also undertakes monitoring of NANOC's subsidiaries' equipment.

Now the list of universities, which will participate in the project, is being defined. The details of the theoretical training program in all areas - agronomy, engineering, smart solutions management, etc. - are being discussed. At this stage, EGK needs about 100 engineers, and it is quite possible that the ranks of employees of the international company will be joined by the students to be trained in the training center.

As V. Zobov, after-sales service director of Eurasia Group Kazakhstan, noted earlier, the industry now needs service engineers - specialists who know the structure of mechanisms, hydraulics, and modern computer systems equipped with modern agricultural machinery. There are practically no such specialists, many of them are just self-trained, or get knowledge at the expense of the employer.

It is important to note that EGK successfully cooperates with several universities of the country. To date, 22 students of agrarian universities have already become employees of the company. There is a strategic alliance on dual education in Kazakhstan. Eurasia Group Kazakhstan and John Deere, being the participants of the alliance, implement the project on introduction of a new specialty in agriculture - mechatronics engineer. The project is designed for 3 years with investments from EGK in the amount of 82,000 euros.  In 2019, the Higher College of Forestry, Environment and Tourism in Shchuchinsk graduated 14 students under this program, 5 of whom are employed at the EGK.
