Kazakhstan manufacturers have united against the utilization fee

On November 10, Kazakhstan Press Club and UIE "Yel Tiregi" held an online teleconference between Nur-Sultan and Almaty on the subject of utilization fee.

Within its framework, domestic manufacturers from the auto business, agriculture, cable and electrical products, as well as food industry unanimously stated the need to change the new bill of the Environmental Code: namely, to abolish the utilization fee for various types of equipment and products or reduce its rates several times.

For example, domestic farmers have repeatedly stated that the utilization fee for agricultural machinery will not help the development of Kazakhstan's agricultural machinery industry, but will only lead to higher prices for equipment and groundless charges, which will eventually have a negative impact on food prices and generally spur inflation in the country.
