Today at a briefing at the Central Communications Service, Minister of Agriculture Y. Karashukeyev spoke about the spring field work and measures of state support for agriculture. The Minister said that 300 billion tenge will be allocated from the state budget for development of agriculture, World of NAN reports.
The head of the Ministry of Agriculture said that the issue of additional funding was discussed at a meeting of the budget committee.
"It was decided to allocate 300 billion tenge for the development of the industry when specifying the budget. Of these, 139 billion tenge will be allocated for additional subsidies, "- said Y. Karashukeyev.
According to the Minister, the additional funding is provided taking into account the rising cost of the material and technical component of agricultural producers and should become a major support for domestic farmers.
The state paid great attention to microcrediting of farmers. Forty billion tenge will be allocated for these purposes. Money in the amount of 8.3 billion tenge is provided for implementers of investment projects for the production of sugar beet and vegetables to create infrastructure and the purchase of modern irrigation facilities. In addition, the allocated funds are designed to support start-up and expansion of existing small rural entrepreneurs.
"In total 40 billion tenge will be allocated for microcredit in order to increase income of villagers, it is planned to open about 8 thousand workplaces", - said the Minister of Agriculture.
