19 producers will be able to export meat to Uzbekistan

Nineteen more Kazakh producers of livestock products received the right to export to Uzbekistan. The new agreements were reached during the visit of Kazakhstan's Minister of Agriculture to Tashkent, World of NAN reports, citing the Ministry of Agriculture.

The parties exchanged views on important aspects of the international agenda, including food security and the humanitarian crisis, and cemented intentions for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

Yerbol Karashukeyev noted Kazakhstan's interest in increasing exports of domestic products to the countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS): "Today Kazakhstan has opportunities to significantly increase exports of agricultural products to the OTS countries. We are also interested in increasing the supply of advanced processing goods.

Earlier, 37 Kazakh enterprises were included to the Register. As a result of providing the Uzbek side with a full overview of Kazakhstan's veterinary system, 19 more producers of livestock products received the right to export under the guarantee of the veterinary service. As a result, currently 56 Kazakh enterprises are included in the Register of Uzbekistan.
