Prodkorporatsiya pays 200,000 tenge for wheat

Prodkorporatsiya has established a fair market value in accordance with current market conditions, World of NAN reports citing the press service of the food corporation.

Within the framework of ensuring return of agricultural products under forward purchase agreements, JSC "NC "Prodkorporatsiya" set prices for durum wheat at 200 000 tenge, for oats at 70 000 tenge, for oilseeds at 300 000 tenge and for rapeseed at 250 000 tenge (all prices with VAT).

These prices will allow agricultural producers to compensate for the losses associated with the dry summer and the general decline in yields.

To recall, in current year of 2021 the forward purchase of agricultural products was scaled up and the list of purchased crops was expanded. The complete purchasing list includes soft wheat, durum wheat, barley, oats, buckwheat, sunflower seeds, oilseeds, rapeseed and soy. Expansion of purchase will contribute to stabilization of prices for 12 out of 19 types of socially important food products.
