The Kazakh company EGISTIC, which develops an application for agriculture, won a contest of digital projects of the Eurasian Development Bank's Digital Initiatives Fund, World of NAN reports.
70 projects from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan participated in the large-scale competition. The submitted projects included solutions for tourism, healthcare, public administration, education, agriculture, energy and environment. Out of all applications, the competition committee awarded EGISTIC SUPERAPP super-application as the winner.
"The grant amount for the winner was 500 thousand dollars. Finances will allow the company to develop and implement the application in Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Our goal is to make a unifying application between farmers. The application will allow farmers from different countries to buy and sell, exchange experience, search for competencies, rent and sell agricultural machinery", Karimkulov Zhandos, founder of EGISTIC told World of NAN reporter.
EGISTIC is already known to Kazakhstani farmers as one of the leading providers of digitalization services for the agricultural sector in Kazakhstan. EGISTIC SUPERAPP super-application has created an ecosystem of different services to solve problems of farmers and allied food market players on a daily basis.
