Agrarians will receive concessional loans ahead of schedule

In Turkestan region the work to support agricultural producers has been increased. In particular, farmers are offered to receive concessional funds from the RIC "ONTUSTIK" and the microfinance organization "Yrys" for spring field works effective from December 2022, reports World of NAN.

According to the press service of the regional akimat, annually RIC "ONTUSTIK" with subsidiary organization MFO "Yrys" through the funds raised by JSC "Agrarian Credit Corporation" financed to conduct spring field works. Each year the attraction of funds was carried out in the spring period, respectively, farmers received their funds only in the spring. This was not entirely convenient for farmers in the southern regions, where spring field works begin earlier than in other regions of Kazakhstan.

"In order to improve the efficiency of concessional lending, a lot of work was done for agricultural producers. As a result, in December we received approval of funds from the Agrarian Credit Corporation, to finance the agrarians. A preliminary list of agricultural producers who intend to receive funds to accelerate the process of issuing concessional loans was drawn up", - the Akimat informed.

In addition, in order to improve the efficiency of agricultural producers in the region it is planned to finance the purchase of elite varieties of seeds. Also, priority will be given to socially important food products and getting 2-3 harvests from one area.

According to the company specialists, RIC "ONTUSTIK" together with MFO "Yrys" is planning to assimilate 4,3 billion tenge for spring field works in 2023. It should be noted that in 2022 there were 813 projects financed with the total area of 67.4 thousand hectares sown for a total amount of 3.9 billion tenge.
