Agricultural projects worth 32 billion tenge will be launched in Karaganda region

They will be implemented by domestic investors. Among them are the production of meat, butter, flour products, reports World of NAN, referring to LS.

The implementation is scheduled for 2022-2024. Kazakhstani companies are expected to invest over 32 billion tenge in production.

Construction and assembling works are carried out on three facilities and are expected to be launched by the end of this year. For instance, oil production with capacity of 60 thousand tons a year will be set up in the region. A total of 3.56 billion tenge will be invested into implementation of the project. At the enterprise they want to create 20 jobs.

In addition, a production site is under construction, where confectionery, flour and bakery products will be produced. Capacity - 14 thousand tons of products a year. Cost - 1.2 billion tenge. It will create 35 jobs.

Flour production will also start working. Capacity - 10 thousand tons per year. Investors will invest 600 million tenge. It will provide jobs for 15 people.

In addition, by the end of 2022 the beef production project for 573 million tenge is expected to start. At this facility 20 jobs will be created. It is noted that documents are being prepared.

In 2024 the region is planned to launch another meat project for 26.5 billion tenge. It is expected that 1,2 thousand people will be employed.

According to the data of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, nine food production facilities worth over 15 bln tenge will appear in Kazakhstan this year. New projects in this area are implemented in Nur-Sultan, West Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Zhambyl and Kyzylorda regions.
