Akim: farmers should build houses for villagers

Akim of Kostanai region Kumar Aksakalov held a meeting with the district akims and criticized their work, World of NAN reports referring to inform.kz.

Mainly, the questions concerned the implementation of investment projects and housing construction in rural areas. According to Kumar Aksakalov, farmers should take part in the construction of houses in rural areas, as most of the people on the waiting list for housing are employees of their farms.

"You say that houses will be built under the condition of investment projects. This is wrong! Whether they are realized or not, houses in rural areas must be built. We have very few houses in rural areas that meet the quality of life. We are ready to finance and reimburse 50% of the cost to agricultural producers who will build houses for their employees, "- said the head of the region.

All the same, the Akim's logic remains unclear for the editors of World of NAN. For example, if the farmer will build houses, but will not implement the investment project, that is, will not open the farm, there will be no work in the village, right? Then why do we need houses, if there is no work there? Who will live there?
