The akimat of Kyzylzhar district of the North Kazakhstan region, instead of promoting business in the countryside, obstructed the work of a farmer, World of NAN reports with reference to the anti-corruption service.
The Akim of the district refused to amend the Akimat's resolution on the replacement of the head of the farm, requiring a protocol of the meeting of all shareholders with signatures of consent.
The farmer, fearing the consequences of red tape in the form of hampering the legitimate activities of the farm, loss of subsidies and other measures of state support, appealed to the Anti-Corruption Service.
"According to the current land legislation, notification of participants of shared land use of the forthcoming meeting shall be made at least one month before its date in writing against a signature. The meeting is considered as valid if no less than 50% of owners of shares or their representatives participate," - explained in the department of anti-corruption.
Employees of anti-corruption service had to hold a meeting. After that, the decision of the Akim of Kyzylzhar district was issued, as it was found that the requirements of the land legislation were observed by the businessman, including the timely notification of members of the farm and their attendance at the meeting.
