Arabs plan to process grain in Akmola region

Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin met with Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, World of NAN reports with reference to the Government.

It should be noted that by the end of 2022 the volume of Qatari investments in the economy of Kazakhstan has increased 3 times. And Kazakhstan is interested in utilizing all available opportunities for further expansion of investment partnership.

Now one of the major joint projects - construction of a plant for deep processing of grain in Akmola region by the holding "Hassad Food", with the involvement of major technological partners, is under consideration.

Serik Zhumangarin also met with the Minister of Trade and Industry of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani, during which the parties discussed the possibilities of increasing the volume of supplies of Kazakh goods to Qatar and cheaper transportation and logistics costs.
