In Kazakhstan, in recent years there has been a positive increase in livestock production. In this regard, on October 18, the Rixos Borovoe hosted the business forum “New Territories of Development. Makinsk ”, organized by Aitas Kz JSC.
During the forum, participants discussed pressing agricultural issues. Discussions took place between representatives of the public sector and business. The key goal of the forum was to create a cluster of meat industry in Northern Kazakhstan.
The forum allowed to form the basis and identify the participants in the cluster of meat industry in the region.
Nowadays, the city of Makinsk is on its development path. There are a number of obvious advantages for investing: geographical location, the region with the largest volume of feed grain, convenient natural landscape, a regional center with a concentration of administrative services, large agribusiness entities.
In the event took part the Akimola Oblast Akim, the management team of Aitas Kz, KUSTO Group, Eurasia Agro Holding and representatives of related businesses that shared the best practices of the robot, etc.
Within the framework of the forum, measures of state support offered by the Development Bank of Kazakhstan, as well as the possibility of exporting meat to the markets of China, Iran and Arab countries were discussed. At the forum, a speech was made by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kosherbayev and independent member of the board of directors of Aitas KZ JSC Bolat Zhamishev.
Yermek Kosherbayev noted that attracting foreign investment in modern conditions is of particular importance and that assistance in this matter since last year is included in the list of tasks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In conclusion, a memorandum was signed between Aitas KZ JSC and Akimat of Akmola region, as well as a memorandum between "Cukurova" (Turkey) and Aitas KZ JSC. According to the memorandum, "Cukurova" will build a $ 40 million corrugated cardboard packaging factory in Makinsk. Aitas KZ JSC according to the memorandum plans to invest at least 100 million tenge annually in the development of Makinsk.
