Brucellosis detected in Kostanay region

An outbreak of brucellosis has been detected in the village of Slavenka in Kostanai region, reports World of NAN.

In connection with the threat of the spread of infection, the akim of the Kosobin rural district decided to introduce restrictive measures. The corresponding project was published on the portal "Open LA".

The decision was made in accordance with the Law of RK "On Veterinary", on the basis of the presentation of the head of the state institution "Karabalyk District Territorial Inspectorate of the Committee of Veterinary Control and Supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture" on the infection of livestock.

"Establish restrictive measures in the territory of an individual entrepreneur "G.A. Mukanova" Slavenka village of Kosobin rural district of Karabalyk district of Kostanai region, in connection with the occurrence of brucellosis disease of cattle," the document reads.

Karabalyk District Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Department and the District Territorial Inspectorate were recommended to conduct the necessary sanitary and anti-epidemiological and veterinary and sanitary measures to achieve veterinary and sanitary welfare in the identified epizootic focus.
