A former farmer has invented equipment to conserve moisture

A resident of Kokshetau, Serikbai Sagyndykov, has designed an agricultural invention that will help farmers save fields from drought, World of NAN reports citing 24.kz.

In the past, Serikbai Sagyndykov was engaged in farming, so he knows the difficulties of working in the field. The former agrarian called his invention a snowplow. The working principle of the iron construction is simple, it rakes the snow and compacts it.

"You can assemble the device in any farm with the help of welding. The most important thing is the ratio of snow capture across the area. If you don't have a lot of snow, you have to make it big to group that snow. The interior has to be sanded down. The main requirement is to compact the snow at the end of winter and early spring," explained the inventor.

According to calculations of the author of the idea, after treatment with the equipment, melting will be delayed to 2-3 weeks and will increase the moisture content of the soil for a long time. Thus, compaction will be more effective than the usual snow retention.

"I need to test this machine, and for that I need a sponsor or an investor. If someone wants to implement it, we could work together," noted Serikbai Sagyndykov.
