Through the Caspian terminal it is possible to export 400 thousand tons of grain

At the end of 2022, transshipment through the grain terminal of JSC "Ak Bidai - Terminal" amounted to 400,425 tons of grain, the World of NAN reports with reference to Prodokorporatsiya.

Thus, through the terminal, located on the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea in the sea port of Aktau, there were 169,351 tons of wheat and 226,558 tons of barley shipped to Iran. 4,515 tons of wheat were exported to the Republic of Azerbaijan through the port.

Work on the transshipment of grain in 2023 by the grain terminal is going in the routine mode. At the moment grain is being accepted from shippers. The agreed volume of grain handling in January 2023 is 84,272 tons. The plan is to tranship 400,000 tons of grain through the grain terminal in 2023.

The terminal has 11 silos for temporary storage of grain with a total volume of 22.5 thousand tons. The production capacity of the transport communications of the terminal at transshipment is up to 350 tons of grain per hour, which provides the ability to receive up to 3 thousand tons of grain from the railroad cars per day, and unload up to 4 thousand tons of grain into sea vessels daily.

The terminal operates around the clock, is equipped with an active ventilation system, high-precision electronic scales and automated control system of the entire technological cycle, allowing for high quality services.
