Money for development of villages was stolen in North Kazakhstan Region

Theft of budgetary funds in especially large scale under the state program "Auyl - Yel besigi" was revealed by employees of Department of Agency of financial monitoring of SKR, reports World of NAN referring to the department.

A motor road was accepted for exploitation in complete absence of a roadbed. Of the planned road length of 53.5 km, 27 km of the road was missing.

"The amount of damage caused was about 450 million tenge. As a result of the investigation of the criminal case on the theft during construction of the road in the area of the district named after G. Musrepov, the persons involved in the theft were identified. The case was sent to court", - noted in the Agency for Financial Monitoring.

Construction of this road is of social importance for the local residents, due to their remoteness from the district center. Carrying out of such work by the Department of FM in NKR allowed to restore the construction of the automobile road, some parts of which are already functioning at the present time.
