Deputy: the state should interfere less in the affairs of farmers

At the government meeting, member of the Senate Zakirzhan Kuziyev negatively assessed the restrictions of exports of agricultural products by the state, World of NAN reports.

The deputy raised the issue of the regulatory policy of the state on foreign trade of agricultural products, as they have a negative impact on the development of business.

"Over the past two years, the government has imposed export restrictions on 15 types of agricultural products. It is worth noting that sometimes decisions on restrictions are made hastily, without proper calculations and risk forecasting. This is especially evident when restrictions were introduced and later lifted urgently", the MP said.

He believes that government agencies should reconsider the methods of saturation of the domestic market with food, using stimulating measures instead of regulatory ones.

"In order to realize export opportunities of domestic agrarians it is necessary to continue to create modern infrastructure, improve logistics, "expand" bottlenecks especially on the railroad. Also, the state needs to interfere less in the affairs of agricultural producers by various restrictions", - said Zakirzhan Kuziev.
