Y. Karashukeyev announced forecasts for this year's grain harvest

More than 21 million tons of grain are planned to receive in Kazakhstan this year. This was stated by the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Yerbol Karashukeyev, reports World of NAN with reference to "Kazinform".

"As for yield plans. This year we had all the moisture in time on all the works to close the moisture, the sowing season is well under way, the forecast is favorable. We think that we will have a very good average annual harvest. It is about 21 million tons of cereals and leguminous plants and over 16 million tons of wheat, "- said Yerbol Karashukeyev, answering the questions of journalists on the sidelines of the Senate.

The head of the Ministry of Agriculture assured that this year's crop forecasts are favorable.

"The forecast is favorable, now we are doing everything in order to complete sowing work in the shortest possible time, to have a good harvest, "- added the Minister.
