Ecobazaar opened in Turkestan region

Technical opening of Ecobazaar was held in Turkestan. Here farmers of Turkestan region and other regions can sell their products, World of NAN reports with reference to the press service of the akim.

Fish and rice from Shardara district, fruit and berries from Baidibek district, and poultry, eggs and other products at low prices are offered here.  

The modern shopping center has created all conditions for comfortable trade for citizens and tourists coming to the spiritual capital of the Turkic country. The market has 300 warehouses for storing goods.

The market provides credits for entrepreneurs under the program "Yassy Business" at 4% for 5 years on security of up to 60 mln tenge. An agreement about this was made with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Trade of Turkestan region and Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund. 

"Ecobazaar is a farmer's market in the new format, which combines the advantages of a traditional agricultural market and a modern and comfortable shopping center. The market, located on 14 hectares, has about 3,000 outlets. This market at wholesale prices is ideal for rapid sales of agricultural products of own production of farmers, preserving the quality of food products and reducing the cost of transportation, "- said General Director of Ecobazaar Baknur Ayubek.  

It is worth noting that in recent years, Turkestan region is the leader in the production and export of cattle meat. Meat products of the region are in high demand in China, Uzbekistan, Russia, Iran, as well as in the United Arab Emirates. And melon is in demand in Germany.
