Today, the largest international agricultural exhibition KazAgro/KazFarm-2021 came to an end in the capital city. It was attended by many foreign companies who brought their best developments for the farmers of Kazakhstan. What did the foreign guests have to offer our farmers, the World of NAN reports.

CZECH REPUBLIC

The Czech Republic is traditionally known for its success in agriculture. However, those companies that have shown interest in Kazakhstan, unfortunately, participated in the format of catalogs this year. Artem Lukashov, a representative of the Trade and Economic Department of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, told us what products the guests of the exhibition were interested in: "The greatest interest from the Kazakh farmers has been in cattle breeding products. In particular, the import of pedigree cattle, animal feeding and care. Which is quite logical, because from 2018 to 2019 more than 5,000 heads of pedigree cattle were supplied to Kazakhstan, this summarily gives the Czech Republic first place among all suppliers."

Artem Lukashov added that Czech companies have ambitious plans for Kazakhstan - the possibility of localizing the production of machinery in Kazakhstan is being considered. According to Lukashov, the Czech Republic agricultural machinery industry is strongly developed, but in Kazakhstan it has not yet occupied its niche because of the low level of awareness of farmers about it.

RUSSIAN FEDERATION

The most notable and numerous at the exhibition were the exhibitors from the neighboring country. Leonid Blokhin, a sales specialist from the Rostov region, explained the interest of Russian companies in the Kazakhstani market.

"Your country has a very developed agricultural sector. Today we see that Kazakhstan has room to develop. Russian companies are ready to cooperate and share their experience," says our interlocutor.

Leonid visited the exhibition in Kazakhstan for the first time, and it left him with only pleasant impressions. "I liked the people and the atmosphere at the event," said the guest from the Rostov region.

Agricultural regions of the Russian Federation brought a lot of interesting things. Valentina Krasyukova, trading department manager from Novosibirsk region, said their region is known for high yield of soft wheat and its quality. Novosibirsk companies brought to Kazakhstan fertilizers, which are actively used by farmers in their homeland. The region also brought processed products - flour, smoothies and milk based on rice and buckwheat.

BELARUS REPUBLIC

The delegation from this country offered visitors not only equipment, but also knowledge. The Ministry of Education of the country took part in the exhibition. Elena Urbanchik, professor of the department of bakery technology: "We brought products of grain processing - it's cosmetics, food and feed. In our university we find biologically active ways of using crops. We came for the sake of joint projects with Kazakh party, because your scientists are interested in joint scientific works to develop new products of processed products in all directions".

THE NETHERLANDS

Dmitry Grinishin, regional sales manager for the CIS from a Dutch company, shared his impressions: "We are very fond of Kazakhstan, we have participated in the exhibition three times already. I personally took part in the very first exhibition 11 years ago. And now it is 10 years old. Its quality has improved significantly. The audience and attendance at this particular exhibition is very good.

Dutch companies offered a wide range of technology for cattle farmers, like robot feeding systems, automatic manure removal systems, and cow scratchers. We also brought a lot of crop production, livestock suppliers and a potato grower.

THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY

The German representatives had very attractive booths. A huge collective booth consisted of 12 companies, in addition to companies that participated individually. Among them were both companies well known to the Kazakhstani market and newcomers. For the visitors of the event, German guests brought equipment for soil analysis, seeds, pedigree cattle and fodder, cow identification systems, manure processing technologies, equipment for grain processing and storage, and agricultural machinery.

"The organization is excellent. Many representatives of German companies are satisfied with its quality - spacious pavilions, modern conference halls, opportunities for placing machinery," official representative of VDMA Agricultural Machinery Mikhail Mizin shared his impressions.

According to him, today manufacturers from Germany show great interest in Kazakhstan. And they are happy to take part in such events. "There is a great demand for modern equipment and technology in Kazakhstan. We see that the level of professionalism of farmers in Kazakhstan has grown significantly in recent years. Today they are not just interested in something modern, but make specific requests for effective work," emphasized Mikhail Mizin.

The exhibition "KazAgro/KazFarm" has closed its doors until next year. However, the Kazakh farmers are looking forward to the world's largest agricultural machinery exhibition AGRITECHNICA which will be held next year in Hanover from February 27th to March 5th.
