A farmer in Turkestan region will turn his farm into a recreational area

A Turkestan Region farmer intends to turn his farm into a recreational area with birds, fish and an orchard, World of NAN reports, citing the region's Akim's press service.

Mubarak Agro farm raises 400 sheep and 30 horses. The project has already attracted 200 million tenge in investments. A. Shukirbekov, the chairman of the farm, plans to open a fattening platform for 500 animals in the near future. The farm owner intends to turn the place into a recreation area. For this purpose, he plans to breed various birds - chickens, pheasants, peacocks, ducks, geese - on the territory of the farm, as well as to develop a fishery.

"Today we are witnessing the implementation of a unique project in the Arys region. The work of the partnership "Mubarak Agro" in Kozhatogai rural district is an example for many. Large-scale projects to develop the agro-industrial complex will be implemented in the city," said the municipality's head G. Kurmanbekova, at the opening ceremony of the peasant farm.

The entrepreneur plans to build 3 houses, a yurt for visitors, a modern type of bathhouse, a swimming pool, soccer and children's playgrounds in the recreation area. In order to improve the recreation territory this year the farm owner intends to cultivate gardens on the area of 8 hectares. The plan is to sow 4000 seedlings of alder, poplar, mulberry, and blueberry, and next spring 10000 seedlings of apple, grape, plum, and pear trees.
