A farmer started the greenhouse business from 10 hectares and has grown to one hectare

In Maktaaral district of Turkestan region the greenhouse belonging to farm "Sartayev" grows 3 million seedlings a year, reports World of NAN referring to the press-service of akimat of region.

The head of the farm, Sabit Sartayev, has been engaged in greenhouse farming for 12 years. Initially, having opened a greenhouse with an area of 10 hectares, the entrepreneur has increased its area every year due to the increase in demand. Currently, the greenhouse is one hectare in size and employs about 60 people.

"In the near future, we plan to increase the volume of the greenhouses once again. Here we grow seedlings of cabbage, melons, watermelons by individual order. If a person has a willingness to work and a desire to succeed, he will never be without work. Especially in today's market times, I think our men should take responsibility and work hard to support their families," says the head of the farm.

The chief agronomist of the greenhouse, Seitbek Zhumanov, noted that work on growing cabbage started in December. According to him, depending on the variety of cabbage, the agrarians supply their own seeds and order them to grow. There is a lot of work before the sown seeds germinate, but the price of a seedling justifies it.
