Monetary assistance was provided to 11 families of Izendi village of Nurinsk district of Karaganda region by the head of "Otkanzhar" partnership. In honor of the 31st anniversary of independence, he allocated 31 thousand tenge to infants under a year, reports World of NAN.

As the head of the partnership Aslan Otarbay told, he helps large and low-income families of his native village on the example of his father. Back in the early 2000s, his father Kanat Otarbayev established a one-time financial assistance on his behalf for infants under one year old. During these years about 250 children managed to get it.

"This is my home village. Our farm workers live here, their families live here too. Therefore, I consider it my duty to create conditions for them and help them financially," says Aslan Otarbay.

Otkanzhar Partnership, which he heads, is one of the largest sheep farms in the district. The main activity is the breeding of Kazakh fat-tailed sheep. He has been breeding cattle since 2012.

"The partnership annually helps families with children under a year old. It gives them money for diapers and other basic necessities. Every year the amount of sponsorship increases. A children's playground and a toikhana in Toparkol department were built by the farm to mark the 90th anniversary of Nurin district. The farm employs 130 people", - says Aidos Agzamov, Akim of Izendi village.

Nazerke Mazina is a mother of five children. The woman says that the financial support has been a good help.

"I received such monetary support for all my children. Just recently, a philanthropist allocated money for the youngest one as well. I am grateful to him. I haven't seen anything like this in any other village. May everything he does be rewarded tenfold," said the grateful mother.

As it turned out in the conversation, Aslan Otarbay has also taken over the children's leisure time. Every year, high school students go on a trip to Karaganda at the expense of the farmer. For them, the entrepreneur also arranges a summer camp, inviting youth camp guides also at his own expense.

The other day, the entire village was covered in snow. The first to clear the roads were workers from Aslan Otarbay's farm. He believes that social responsibility towards his fellow villagers is paramount.
