A farmer built a school and 12 houses in the village

Farmer Birzhan Shaimerdenov built a new school for primary grades and 12 houses for villagers in the village of Daiyndyk in the North Kazakhstan region, World of NAN reports with reference to 24.kz.

Junior high school students from Daiyndyk started the school year in new spacious classrooms. The old school building was already cramped, so they had to build a separate building for the primary grades. It cost the local community 85 million tenge.

"A lot of people started to migrate, the birth rate became more, the number of schoolchildren increased every year, and the school required expansion. Those years, if clubs and electives were held until 9pm sometimes. Now we have one shift," said Talgat Ramazanov, the school's director.

Daiyndyk is one of the region's most advanced villages. Dozens of families have moved here in recent years. Several new streets have appeared. This year alone, 12 houses have been built here. There are no problems with employment. Working hands are needed both in the field and on cattle farms.

Almost all social facilities in the village were built at the expense of the farm. Soon a modern minimarket, beauty salon and fitness center will be opened here. The head of the farm Birzhan Shaimerdenov started to develop his native village almost 30 years ago. Back then there were only 28 houses in Daiyndyk, but now there are three times as many. There are hundreds of people willing to move to the village.

"Perhaps we have the highest earnings, last year the average salary was 383 thousand. Combine operators earn from 7 to 9 million, and during harvesting they earn 4-5 million, so many people try to get to us. Now they are building an oil factory in the village, and several more jobs will appear," Birzhan Shaimerdenov emphasized.
