Farmers will be allowed to export more live cattle

The Ministry of Agriculture plans to increase the quota share in the export of live cattle by feedlots and farms. The relevant draft is being discussed on the website "Open RLAs", reports World of NAN.

Thus, the limit for one fattening site to obtain a quota for the export of steers older than 12 months from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan amounts to an cumulative total of no more than 4000 heads ( previous norm is 500), and for one producer - no more than 500 heads (previous norm is 200).

Limit per fattening site to obtain a quota for the export of lambs older than 6 months from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a cumulative total of no more than 1000 heads, and for one producer - no more than 500 heads".

We recall that earlier the export of live cattle was not financially feasible due to low limits.
