The farmer was not paid subsidies, but he did not give up

An agrarian from the Kostanay region, after refusing to pay subsidies for pesticides, filed a complaint against the agricultural department with the department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs, World of NAN reports with reference to inform.kz.

The situation was further aggravated by the restriction on the right to submit applications for purchased pesticides in 2022, since they were accepted only until December 1, 2023.

“Based on the complaint received, an unscheduled inspection was carried out in the department of agriculture and land relations of the regional akimat. Based on its results, facts were established of unlawful delays in the consideration of applications by up to 6 months instead of the required 3 working days. Moreover, citing the fact that the entrepreneur incorrectly indicated the rate of application of the herbicide, the Department of Agriculture and Land Relations unreasonably refused to pay subsidies,” the agency explained.

In order to restore and protect the violated rights of a businessman, the department introduced an order according to which immediate measures should be taken to pay the subsidy and bring the perpetrators to justice.
