Farmers spoke about another shortcoming of gosagro.kz

Farmers from North Kazakhstan region appealed to our editorial office. According to them, right now, when the region began accepting applications for fertilizer subsidies, they are being denied state aid. The reason is a major flaw in the system of subsidies related to the registration of land, reports the World of NAN.

"On April 18, 2023, NKR began accepting applications for fertilizer subsidies. However, our farm could not apply for subsidies for nitrate and ammophos because our land plots could not be displayed in the application," representatives of Sevsnabtorg LLP said.

They addressed their problem to the " Gosagro Plant Production" platform support telegraph-chat. However, they did not get any specific help.

"The portal support specialist Arai Kanatbekkyzy explained to us that if the lands are listed on IIN, and the organization on BIN, then we cannot technically apply for subsidies. To our question as to why the developers did not initially take into account that the lands of farms by law are registered on the IIN of the head, because the old portal qoldau.kz already had it, we were told that it was not put in the technical specifications. Moreover, this issue is not even part of the developers' work and, accordingly, there is no deadline for correcting the deficiency," the LLP employees are outraged.

LLP used to pay a subscription fee of 34 thousand tenge for using qoldau.kz and received fertilizer subsidies on a regular basis. Everything was fine, said the representatives of the partnership. The Ministry of Agriculture has developed a new portal without subscription fees, but also without the possibility for some farms to receive subsidies, according to farmers.

"The issue is very important, because farms bought fertilizers in the winter, counting on subsidies in the spring, but when the time came to reimburse the cost, we find out that we get nothing. Because they forgot to add us to the technical specifications. Fertilizer is not refundable, if we knew in advance, we simply would not have bought fertilizer in such a volume. The cost of fertilizers is 190 thousand tenge per ton, it's very expensive without subsidies," - the northern agrarians are indignant.

And they ask to have their problem brought to the attention of the Ministry of Agriculture, otherwise the department reports that the portal is launched and operational, whereas the farmers remain without state support due to the shortcomings of the unfortunate specialists.
