A 1.5°C rise in global temperatures could occur as early as 2029, rather than 2030, the scientists said.

According to the researchers, the main factor contributing to the occurrence of such an unfavorable situation - a record level of carbon dioxide emissions, observed in the last three years.

According to scientists, to ensure that the temperature on the planet did not exceed 1.5 ° C, global carbon dioxide emissions should reach net zero by 2034, not 2050.
