The Ministry of Agriculture receives many appeals from farmers about the lack of opportunity to get reduced-cost fertilizers. They say the reason for this is the presence of field maps and agrochemical mapping that prevent farmers from applying for subsidies, World of NAN reports with reference to the ministry.
Previously, the Qoldau system digitized fields by the farmer himself, without checking the validity of the data entered and without any kind of format and logistics control. Now on the gosagro.kz portal the data of space monitoring of lands are used as the basis for receiving subsidies. In this case, the possibility of entering parameters manually, when a farmer determined crop rotation and boundaries of his fields by sight, was excluded. At the same time, if there is a discrepancy in the data on the plots, they can be adjusted in NC Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary JSC.
Many farmers could not apply for subsidies because of the lack of agrochemical mapping, a requirement which came into force on January 1, 2023. Prior to that, there were no requirements for agrochemical cartograms.
To solve this problem, the Ministry of Agriculture eliminated the requirement to use agrochemical cartograms until the end of the year. Today, on April 24, 2023, these amendments will take effect.
Also, a postponement is introduced until December 31, 2023 on the digitization of fields through the JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary". However, before the deadline, farmers must necessarily adjust the data fields in accordance with the title documents. The corresponding schedule will be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture together with NC Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary JSC.
