The state will focus on the development of 10 million hectares of problem lands

Of 12.7 million hectares of problem lands, 9.5 million hectares have been returned to the state, while 3.2 million hectares have started to be developed, the World of NAN reports with reference to the government.

Since the beginning of 2022, 566 illegal decisions of akimats on granting 836.5 thousand hectares of agricultural land have been revealed. Of these, 153 decisions have been canceled, and work is being done on the remaining 413.

"Only 3.2 million hectares of land have been put into turnover. There are regions where there is a lag from 30% to 50% behind the set indicators. The work should be continued next year, but we will shift the focus to land development. The necessary criteria will be developed for this purpose," emphasized Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin.
