Boundaries of villages are being changed to include pastures in the land of settlements

In a number of villages of Ulan district of East Kazakhstan region new borders were approved. The changes affected the villages Mamai Batyr, Ayirtau, Bozanbai, Tavria, Targyn, and Sagyr, World of NAN reports with reference to the East Kazakhstan Region Info Center.

"One of the reasons for increasing the borders of settlements is the inclusion of grazing lands in the village boundaries for grazing so that the local population could graze their cattle without problems within their borders," said the akim of Ulan district, Renat Kurmambayev.

He said that in 2022 68 land plots with a total area of 21.2 thousand hectares were transferred into the category of reserve lands.

"In pursuance of the order of the head of state to check the availability of unoccupied or unused land for its intended purpose on the web portal Koldau" 154 land users with a total area of 102 thousand hectares have been identified. The Department for Land Resources Management of East Kazakhstan oblast sent 74 inspection acts to check unused lands on an area of 14.5 thousand hectares; 79 land users brought livestock according to the database of the Center of Livestock Information Systems to a total area of 86.979 thousand hectares," - Renat Kurmambayev said.

After monitoring, 21 additional acts were sent for 20.1 thousand hectares. In total, 95 acts of inspection were sent for 34.6 thousand hectares.

"Also on the web portal "Garysh sapary" 894 cards were identified, 827 of them were worked out and sent to the Department of Land Resources Management for East Kazakhstan region. In addition, work was done to recover 20 times the land tax from 16 entities that use agricultural land in violation of state law.
