Changes were made to the rules for subsidizing crop production

From April 25, 2023, the rules on subsidizing increased productivity and quality of crop production will come into force, the World of NAN reports referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.

The main amendments to the document were:

- eliminating the requirement to register an electronic agrochemical cartogram to receive mineral fertilizer subsidies.

- granting a deferment on the confirmation of field data by remote sensing until the end of 2023, with the exception of priority crops (until the specified date, farmers must necessarily adjust field data in accordance with the entitlement documents. The relevant schedule will be approved by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Garysh Sapary").

- determination of expediency of subsidizing the production of priority crops by local executive bodies themselves, based on the recommended scheme of specialization of regions (wheat is not subsidized).

- formation and approval of lists and norms of subsidies for fertilizers and pesticides, bioagents (entomophages), and also volumes of subsidies by directions in crop production without coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture.
