Israel is ready to invest in the processing of oils, the production of biofertilizers in Kazakhstan

Investors intend to participate in joint projects with Kazakhstan in the field of agriculture, as well as water management, World of NAN reports with reference to Kazakhinvest.

According to the press service, familiarization meetings have already been held with government agencies, relevant organizations and Kazakh businesses, during which potential partners were presented with investment and business opportunities in Kazakhstan.

The Israeli delegation included companies in the field of agriculture, water management, an export insurance company, as well as the Kazakh-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Thus, a company specializing in the development and turnkey construction of high-tech livestock and agricultural complexes, greenhouses and aquaculture projects expressed interest in participating as a developer and co-investor in several projects. Of particular interest to Israeli specialists are the areas of processing sunflower oil, growing salmon, building a pig farm and launching the production of biofertilizers.

In turn, the Israeli state water management company Mekorot is ready to apply its extensive experience in Kazakhstan.

Zeev Levin, Director General of the Kazakh-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, notes that Israeli companies have recently shown more and more interest in Kazakhstan, and therefore the support of Kazakh invest will play a big role in the implementation of new initiatives in Kazakhstan.
