What farming projects will be launched in North Kazakhstan region?

In the North Kazakhstan region, 15 projects worth 11.6 billion tenge are planned to be implemented in the current 2024, reports World of NAN.

Thus, the region will launch eight irrigation projects covering 3.5 thousand hectares of land for a total of 6 billion tenge. The largest area of 1,000 hectares will be occupied by Agro Eletskoye LLP with investments of 1.5 billion tenge. The same area will be covered by Yavlenskoye MTS LLP, which will irrigate oilseeds and grain crops. The rest of the farmers will establish irrigation for fodder and vegetables.

Also, four livestock projects totaling 4.8 billion tenge are planned in the region. The largest enterprise will be launched by Petropavlovsk Broiler LLP, a poultry farm with a capacity of 10,000 tons of meat will cost 2.5 billion tenge. A sheep farm for 2000 heads will be opened by Akhilesh LLP, the total cost of which is 500 mln tenge. Plus, a pig farm and a meat farm will be opened in the region.

Three projects for 830 mln tenge are planned in the sector of agricultural products processing. SEC Akhitovka will build a mini milk processing plant with a capacity of 2000 tons per year, the total cost of 110 million tenge. SEC Mergen will set up processing and production of milk and sour-milk products for 70 million tenge. Another milk processing plant will be launched by IE Verdiyeva, with a total investment of 650 million tenge.
