Wheat prices in Russia have stopped declining and have settled at the level of 11-12.5 thousand rubles per ton, the World of NAN reports.
According to the analytical review Sovecon, the grain has been getting cheaper since mid-August, and over the last three months its price has fallen by 21%.
But over the last week, the average cost of third-class wheat increased by RUB 50 - to RUB 12.5 thousand per ton (KZT 65 thousand at the current exchange rate), while the fourth class - decreased by RUB 50 - to RUB 11.02 thousand per ton (KZT 57 thousand).
It should be noted that today the demand for Russian wheat is increasing amid the resumption of export sales. However, analysts predict that a noticeable rise in prices is not expected, including due to the remaining high total supply of grain.
