Kazakhstan will study the technologies of Belarus in cattle breeding and dairy production

Kazakhstan and Belarus discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in agriculture, World of NAN reports referring to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture.

Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Karashukeyev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Pavel Utupin agreed on a working visit of the Kazakh delegation to Belarus to examine local technologies in cattle breeding and production of equipment for dairy farms.

They also discussed a project for the establishment of a unique plant for the production of veterinary vaccines that has no analogues in Central Asia and the Middle East and familiarized themselves with the activities of the Belarusian National Biotechnology Corporation. The parties came to a common understanding regarding the terms and conditions of the Belarusian agricultural exhibition and agrarian forum in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to statistics data, the turnover of agricultural products and processed agricultural raw materials between Kazakhstan and Belarus in January-June 2021 amounted to 125.9 million US Dollars, 23.5% more than in the same period of 2020 (101.9 million US Dollars).
