A Kazakh-Dutch roundtable called "Greenhouse Development Opportunities" was held in Amsterdam as part of the GreenTech Week exhibition, World of NAN reports.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the round table was attended by Kazakh Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands Askar Zhumagaliyev, Vice-Minister of Agriculture Abulkhair Tamabek, General Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands Jan-Kees Goet, and representatives of business circles of the two countries.
"Abulkhair Tamabek said that the development of greenhouse sector of Kazakhstan will get a new impetus through adopting high-tech approaches in the organization of greenhouse farming from the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Bilateral cooperation, investment potential of Kazakhstan and measures of state support of agro-industrial complex", - press-service of the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
The Kazakh delegation that arrived in Amsterdam, apart from representatives of the branch department, included local entrepreneurs interested in establishment of business relations with Dutch gardeners.
During their stay at GreenTech week, the delegates will become acquainted with the cutting-edge technologies and high-tech solutions in the greenhouse business, which contribute to the safe production of food. They will visit a number of leading Dutch greenhouse enterprises.
The visit is organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands together with the national company "Kazakh invest".
