The country plans to extend the ban on the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products by road transport, reports World of NAN.
According to the Ministry of Energy, such a measure will be aimed at preventing shortages of petroleum products in the domestic market of petroleum products.
"For this purpose, it is planned to extend the Joint Order of the Ministers of Energy, Internal Affairs and Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan "On some issues of the export of petroleum products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (Joint Order) to prohibit the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of oil products by road transport, "- said in the Ministry.
The ban does not apply to the export of lubricants and in the case of petroleum products in the gas tanks of motor vehicles provided by the manufacturer, as well as aviation fuel for research work.
According to experts, changes in the Joint Order will help to prevent the export of petroleum products across the border.
The Joint Order "On some issues of the export of petroleum products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan" is published on the website of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is also available on the portal "Open RLA" for online discussion until January 3, 2023.
