Kazakhstan discussed the possibility of supplying grain to Saudi Arabia

Vice-Minister of Agriculture Abulkhair Tamabek held talks with the head of the Saudi company Al Rajhi International for Investment Ahmed Ali Al Dahil, World of NAN reports referring to the Ministry of Agriculture.

Abulkhair Tamabek introduced the delegation from Saudi Arabia to the achievements of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex. Agriculture and food processing are among the most important sectors of the economy.

"Kazakhstan has cemented its status as a grain power, annually supplying about 8 million tons of grain to the markets of over 70 countries, and over the past years the republic has been a leader in the world in the export of flour, annually exporting up to 2.5 million tons," - said Vice-Minister.

Between the delegations there were talks about the possibility of supply of Kazakh wheat to Saudi Arabia. As well as issues of trade in agricultural products.
