Kazakh producers will enter the largest Chinese marketplace

One more Chinese marketplace will become available for Kazakhstani producers of food products. Representatives of China and Kazakhstan agreed on this at bilateral meetings, reports World of NAN.

Vice-Minister of Trade and Integration Kairat Torebayev met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Xinxing Corporation LLP, Mr. Zhan Jian, in Almaty. The parties discussed cooperation in bringing Kazakhstani products to the largest marketplaces in China, in particular to the electronic platform JD.com.

"JD.com (Jingdong Mall) is the largest online platform for selling goods and services in China, founded in 1998. The electronic platform is considered one of the largest online retailers in the world. It has more than 1 million products for sale, including electronics, clothing, shoes, cosmetics, food and more.

"About 10 Kazakhstani companies producing food products with high export potential took part in the negotiations. These are producers of sunflower and rapeseed oil, confectionery products, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, snacks and other products. Chinese partners after getting acquainted with presented samples of foodstuffs were interested in further cooperation on supply of Kazakhstani goods to the Chinese market", - was told in the Ministry of Trade and Commerce.

Participants of the meeting identified opportunities to promote Kazakhstani products in China through JD.com platform, using Xinxing's extensive experience in marketing as well as sales and service of the world's leading companies in the Chinese market.
