Kazakhstan Mare's Milk Exported to Dubai

A unique product, freeze dried mare's milk, is produced in the Karaganda Region using German technology. The products are known not only in Kazakhstan but also abroad, World of NAN reports, citing the region's Akimat.

A farm in the rural district of Zhansary, Osakarovsky District, is increasing production. New markets are being developed, with deliveries to Dubai possible.

"The farm has horses of the Kazakh breed. The herd has grown from 1,500 to 2,300. This year, we are increasing the production of freeze-dried mare's milk from 6 to 10 thousand tonnes. The sales market is also expanding. We are now negotiating with a buyer in Dubai. In addition, we are developing crop farming. This year we sowed 12 thousand hectares and bought modern equipment. Next year we plan to increase the area under crops up to 15 thousand hectares and start the program of development of irrigated lands. Investments will amount to about 2.5 billion tenge", - said about the farm Ivan Georgiadi, founder of Eurasia Invest LTD.

The company employs about 100 people. The development of production will provide new jobs.
