Kazakhstan created a device that allows you to save 20% of fuel

Developers Shokan Urazayev and Timur Tleukhan created a pulse module FPDtech back in 2016. Moreover, the invention saves fuel on all types of vehicles, including agricultural machinery. Timur Tleukhan shared more details about the device with a World of NAN journalist.

"The point from the engineering perspective is that the device removes the load from the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine while generating alternating current electromotive force. That is, the mechanical generator on the belt ceases to draw torque in the same volume, and the torque saved on the generation of alternating electromotive force is the direct fuel economy," explained the principle of work Timur Tleukhan.

Having created a functioning module in 2016, the inventors immediately started measuring the efficiency of the device. The FPDtech impulse module has already been installed on 2,000 units of various vehicles in 20 countries around the world. Data from owners has been analyzed, with average fuel savings varying around 20%.

"Over the years, we naturally have done a lot of exhaust and dynamometer measurements so that any of our hypotheses make sense through instrument verification," added Timur.

The inventors also tested the device on a tractor, and the tests were conducted with official authority, under the supervision of experts from the Research and Production Center for Agroengineering under the auspices of MIID.

"On the basis of the center, a series of measurements were carried out on MTZ-80 "Belarus" tractors. Three measurements were in the field with attached equipment. Everything was done in accordance with the protocols to give the most effective assessment. We also gave different load modes, which led to different figures on the volume of fuel. On average, the tractor under testing saves a twenty-liter canister of fuel in a 10-hour shift. But at high speed modes the figures are different, where a liter was saved in twenty minutes," said Timur Tleukhan.

After testing the device, the inventors received an expert opinion from experienced engineers of the center that the FPDtech pulse module saves 20% of fuel on Belarus tractors. In the future the inventors plan to get an opinion on other samples of agricultural machinery.

"We will get an expert opinion in those sectors where we need to save money. We know where there is a personal interest, that is where people will save money. For instance, right now, next on the waiting list is buses. That's an indicator that the demand for the product is growing. Since we not only save fuel, but also reduce the carbon footprint that harms the environment", - said the inventor.

If there are requests, the creators of the FPDtech pulse module are ready to put it on any vehicle. The main thing is to have an internal combustion engine, a generator and a battery.
