China is ready to buy Aktobe pasta and sausage

Supplies of food products from the Aktobe region will become a new growth point for Kazakh-Chinese trade, local entrepreneurs believe. A meeting on entering the Chinese market was held on the regional site of Atameken NCE, the World of NAN reports.

Asylgul Ilyasova, director of Molochnye Istorii-A LLP, shared her experience of working with the Chinese market. It is the only local exporter of ready-made food products to the PRC. According to her, an official contract with the Chinese side was signed in 2020. Because of the pandemic, the first deliveries were not made until 2022.

"Now we will work with a larger volume, because we know all the necessary documentation, how to work and what is required of us. From their side the requirements are the quality of products, a full package of documents, our requirements are 100% prepayment and a full package of documents confirming that we are their importers", - shares the entrepreneur.

During the meeting, the participants found out that the Chinese partners have shown great interest in the import of pasta, canned meat, sausages.

In turn, Gulmira Sakieva, who joined via zoom mode, chairman of the Association of Entrepreneurs and Legal Entities in the territory of the ICBC "Khorgos", spoke about her willingness to help with access to the Chinese market.

"It's nice to have a meeting through the regional Atameken. We have potential partners in China who are interested specifically in Kazakhstani products. And at the moment we are looking accordingly for producers who can export to China," she said.

The PRC market is considered promising and solvent, with large volumes in demand. Participants agreed that Kazakhstan could become a great food hub not only for China but also for the entire Eurasian continent.

For its part, the Chamber is ready to assist in obtaining relevant permits for future exporters, as well as to organize a platform for negotiations with potential partners from China.
