A feed mill for 4.4 billion tenge was launched in Kazakhstan

Within the framework of "Zhambyl Economic and Investment Forum - 2023" in Bayzak district of Zhambyl region a plant on production of mixed fodder JSC "Alel Agro" was launched, reports World of NAN.

The plant, launched in order to increase and provide price availability of poultry products, is capable of producing 96,000 tons of feed per year.

Currently, joint projects with some foreign companies are being implemented in the agricultural sector of the region. There are great opportunities to develop poultry farming in the region along with field farming and cattle breeding. Therefore, the importance of the opened plant is considerable.

"In the region in 2019-2021, four large poultry farms produced 15.4 thousand tons of poultry meat. And in 2022 a poultry farm of the joint-stock company "Alel Agro" was opened. The work in this direction will be continued, in connection with which the opening of enterprises is planned. By 2026 it is planned to increase poultry meat production up to 70 thousand tons. It is expected that in this way the problem of the region's self-sufficiency in poultry meat will be solved, "- said the region's akim Nurzhigitov.

It is expected that the plant, once it reaches full capacity, will fully supply the domestic market.

Abulkhair Tamabek, Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, who was a guest of the presentation, drew attention to the fact that during the investment forum, foreign guests and specialists from every region of the country learn about the large-scale work being carried out in the region and share their experience. He stressed the importance of transition to deep processing of raw materials and informed that the state provides 25% subsidy for production of mixed fodder. Other support measures will be considered in this direction.
