Contracts for $105 million were signed by Kazakhstani producers at the exhibition in China

The 4th China International Import Exhibition ended in Shanghai, where high-quality products of Kazakhstan's agro-industrial complex attracted attention, World of NAN reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Trade.

In 6 days, the exhibition was visited by more than 480,000 visitors, including traders, manufacturing companies, trading networks in China and other countries. With the assistance of JSC "Center for Development of Trade Policy "QazTrade" JSC, the Kazakh pavilion will display their products. (within the framework of service support for exporters), 26 Kazakhstani companies presented their products.

During the exhibition B2B negotiations between Chinese and Kazakhstani businesses were carried out in the online format and contacts of more than 100 importers were obtained. The exhibition was held in a hybrid format and involved the physical placement of product samples and remote participation of companies.

As a result of the exhibition, contracts were signed for supplies of Kazakhstani goods to China: soybeans, corn, barley, linseed, rapeseed oil, wheat bran pellets, beef, dried camel milk, etc. A number of companies continue negotiations with potential Chinese buyers. The total sum of concluded contracts exceeds 105 million US dollars.

In total during the exhibition deals were concluded for 70.72 billion dollars, which is 2.6% less than last year. There were 281 companies from around the world, including industry leaders from the Fortune 500. The largest exhibition area was dedicated to agribusiness products: more than 1,200 companies from 102 countries presented their products. According to Sun Chenghai, deputy general manager of CIIE Bureau, the show broke the record for the number of new product introductions: 422 new products, technologies and services.
